Bakhtiyar Hajiyev was invited to the police department
Baku/12.11.21/Turan: Public activist Bakhtiyar Hajiyev on Friday, November 12, was in the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime (GUBOP) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for several hours.
Hajiyev himself told Turan about this, commenting on messages on social networks about his detention.
“I was not detained. I was invited to the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The invitation was connected with the investigation of my complaints to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. I said that none of my complaints had been investigated. For those whom I complain about are taken care of there. But, they began to assure me that these persons were not taken care of and offered to reapply, promising to investigate the complaints. I applied again, we'll see what the results will be, ”Hajiyev said.
The invitation of the activist to the said police department took place after his critical speeches in social networks addressed to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vilayat Eyvazov.
Hajiyev some time ago, in protest against the persecution of him on the Internet and the dissemination of correspondence concerning his private life, tried to commit suicide in front of the administration of the President of Azerbaijan. However, police officers prevented him from doing so.-03B-
