On January 19, the parliament of Luxembourg held a meeting with the deputies from Azerbaijan. During this meeting the representatives of the local branch of Amnesty International staged a rally, calling on their MPs to draw attention to the topic of political prisoners in Azerbaijan. In particular, the Chairman of the Parliament of Luxembourg Mars Di Bartolomeo during the meeting had on their hands a report of Leyla Yunus about 160 political prisoners in Azerbaijan, and asked questions on this topic,

On February 6, 2025, the Khatai District Court of Baku decided to place journalist Shahnaz Beylyargizi under arrest for three months and 15 days. According to lawyer Bakhtiyar Hajiyev, Beylyarghizi has been charged with the same accusations as the previously arrested journalists and activists in the Toplum TV case. However, Beylyargizi is being prosecuted in a separate case.
