Participants of the sixth Meeting of the heads of the National Anti-Terrorism Centre (ATC) of the CIS, which takes place in Moscow on 12-13 February are discussing the issues of cooperation of secret services and law enforcement agencies of the CIS countries in the fight against terrorism. Azerbaijan is represented at the meeting by a delegation headed by the representative of the ATC, Rasim Dashdamirov.
The meeting will touch upon the issues of improving the mechanism of inter-state investigation, address the issue of holding joint antiterrorist exercises of the CIS in May 2013 in Kyrgyzstan, joint command and staff training.
On February 13, national leaders of the CIS Anti-Terrorist Centre will discuss cooperation in the fight against terrorism in the closed format. -02D-

From 19 to 26 July, 24 automatic rifles, 1 machine gun, 9 rifles, 28 grenades, 441 shells, 3118 cartridges of different calibre and other ammunition were found in Khankendi, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry reported. During the mentioned period, the police found 1 machine gun, 50 grenades, 7 fuses, 3 shells and 320 cartridges of different calibre in Shusha.

President Ilham Aliyev has approved by decree the Azerbaijan-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in military intelligence defense sector. The document was signed in Baku on 7 June 2024.
