The meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor (SGC) Advisory Council is scheduled for February 15
Baku / 11.01.18 / Turan: The fourth meeting of ministers within the framework of the Advisory Council of the Southern Gas Corridor (SCC) is scheduled for Baku on February 15, reads the message of the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan. Invitations were sent to the governments of the countries concerned and international financial organizations. The meetings of the SGC Advisory Council have been held in Baku since February 2015.
The SGC project envisages the delivery of Azerbaijani gas to the south of Europe. The project includes full-scale development of the Shahdeniz-2 gas condensate field, expansion of the South Caucasus gas pipeline, construction of the TANAP (Transanatolian) and TAP (Trans Adriatic) pipelines. Investments in SGC are estimated at 40 billion dollars. -05D06-
