The Ministry of Defense denied the involvement of the Azerbaijani side in the death of the Armenian military
Baku/22.03.23/Turan: The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan denied the involvement of the Azerbaijani side in the death of an Armenian soldier on the border of the two countries in the direction of Arazdeyan (Yeraskh).
“On March 22, at about 16:20, a serviceman of the Armenian Defense Ministry Arshak Serezhaevich Sargsyan was mortally wounded by an enemy shot at a combat position located in the Yeraskh sector,” the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.
However, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry denied this information: "We categorically deny the information disseminated by the Armenian defense ministry that on March 22, at about 16:20, a serviceman of the Armenian armed forces was fatally wounded on a combat position in the Arazdayan direction as a result of fire opened allegedly from the Azerbaijani side. By spreading such misinformation, the Armenian defense ministry attempts to conceal suicides and other negative cases that have recently occurred in its army as a result of increased indiscipline".
It should be noted that the village of Arazdeyan (Yeraskh) is located on the border between Armenia and the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan.—06B-
