The number of Generals in Azerbaijan increased by seven
Baku / 25.06.18 / Turan: By decree of the head of state, seven colonels of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces were awarded the rank of Major-General, one General was promoted to Lieutenant-General. By another decree of Ilham Aliyev, 78 servicemen, including the minister of defense, the chief of the General Staff, the deputy defense ministers and the commanders of the military formations, were awarded orders and medals. All the awarded - are senior officers. Among the awarded is only one ordinary - Ali Tatarov, posthumously awarded the medal "For the Motherland". Awards and titles are timed to the 100th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan.-02D-
