The President allocated financial assistance in the amount of AZN 1 million to newspapers
Baku/07.22.19/Turan: On July 22, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an order on the allocation of additional financial assistance to print media for AZN 1 million.
The document was signed in order to strengthen the material and technical base of newspapers published in Azerbaijan.
According to the decree, for these purposes, the State Support Fund for Media Development under the President of Azerbaijan will allocate 1 million manat (about 600,000 dollars) from the reserve fund of the head of state, envisaged in the 2019 state budget.
The beneficiaries of the aid distributed through the Media Support Fund are publications loyal to the authorities.
