The Red Cross is looking for the Armenians remained in Karabakh
Baku/19.10.23/Turan: ICRC teams visit communities in Karabakh, trying to help people after the mass exodus, the Red Cross said in a statement.
"A small number of people remain in their homes either by choice or because they were unable to leave on their own. Some require medical attention or food and water. Others ask for help contacting loved ones or finding transportation to leave. Our teams also helped to carefully deliver the deceased people to the morgues for proper and dignified care," says Red Cross employee Chris Poole.
Red Cross teams are in contact with a small number of residents who stay in their homes and are constantly finding new ones. They are happy to receive bread and water or use the ICRC phones to contact family or friends.
Aron Ghazaryan, who lives with his 92-year-old father in a remote mountain village, addressed the ICRC. ---0---
