The S Ambassador Opens USAID Computer Laboratories in Astara and Lankaran
Baku/02.04.22/Turan: On March 31 and April 1, US Ambassador Litzenberger visited Astara and Lankaran and took part in the opening of two computer classes funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) at local educational institutions. According to the US Embassy's press release, the classrooms include 21 new computers at Astara Pedagogical College and 17 computers at Lankaran State University for student use.
Ambassador Litzenberger talked to the leadership of these universities and students at the Astara Pedagogical College and Lankaran University.
“We want to do our best to help young Azerbaijanis succeed. That is why the US government is investing in Azerbaijani youth,” he said. As part of a three-year, $1 million project to improve the economic resilience of youth and women, five USAID computer labs have been established in educational institutions in Azerbaijan. -0-
