The State Department Urged Armenia and Azerbaijan to Peaceful Resolution of the Conflict
In a traditional briefing at the US State Department Spokesperson Jen Psaki was asked about the trial of two Azeris in Karabakh. The journalist asked her if Washington monitors the situation and whether it expressed its concerns to Armenia or Azerbaijan.
On this Psak said that Washington has not enough information on the matter. However, the US continues to remind the parties that the necessary steps should be taken towards a peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
"We call on all sides to redouble their efforts at the negotiation table to focus on the benefits that peace will bring to people across the region” she said. -02D-
