The US ambassador meets with the head of the Central Election Commission
Baku / 22.09.16 / Turan: On 21 September the CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov met with US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta. This information was disseminated by the Department of Public Relations and Media of the CEC. The report said that Ambassador Robert Cekuta asked the preparatory work for the referendum on 26 September. The CEC head Mazahir Panahov said CEC is always open to cooperation with international organizations. He informed about the high level of preparation of the referendum ambassador.
