The U.S. State Department called on the OSCE to increase attention to the protracted conflicts
The agenda of the OSCE should be included questions on specific and practical steps to resolve protracted conflicts .
This is stated in the statement of the U.S. State Department posted on its website.
The statement also points to the recent meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan with the participation of delegations from the USA , Russia and France within the framework of the OSCE Ministeriqal Council's meeting in Kiev. The statement adopted at the end of the meeting was endorsed by the Ministerial Council of the OSCE.
"This is an encouraging factor for achieving progress in the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict," the U.S. State Department stated. -16D06-
