Toralf Piltz: Azerbaijan and EU Could Sign Agreement on Visa Facilitation
It is possible that at the summit in Vilnius an agreement on visa facilitation will be signed between Azerbaijan and the European Union. However, for the entry into force of this agreement, the sides have to sign a readmission agreement, too. The journalists were told by the Charge d'Affaires of the EU in Azerbaijan, Toralf Piltz.
According to him, the preparation of the draft agreement on readmission is coming to an end.
"In all likelihood, the readmission agreement will be signed in 2014 and the documents will be ratified and enter into force in the same year," said Piltz.
Recall that in March this year Azerbaijan and the European Union reached an agreement on visa facilitation and readmission.
Visa facilitation includes reducing the list of documents for obtaining a visa, lower prices and receiving long-term visas. -03B04-
