Two new deputy foreign ministers appointed in Azerbaijan
Baku/09.09.23/Turan: Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has two new deputies - Yalchin Rafiyev and Samir Sharifov. The head of the department’s press service, Aykhan Hajizade, wrote about this on the social network X.
Rafiyev previously served as head of the international security department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is known about Sharifov that in July of this year the head of state awarded him the diplomatic rank of envoy extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the second class.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs now has 6 deputies. In addition to these persons, the deputy ministers are Mahmud Mamedguliyev, Araz Azimov, Fariz Rzayev and Elnur Mamedov.—06B-
