Kiev/01.03.22/Turan: According to the General Staff of Ukraine, the Russian army) continues to encircle the Ukrainian cities of Sumy, Lebedin and Akhtyrka, the Russian army is regrouping in order to continue the offensive in the direction of Kiev.

In the Donetsk region, Russian troops with forces of the 1st, 2nd Army Corps and units of the 8th Army, with artillery support, concentrated their efforts on capturing the Ukrainian city of Mariupol. They don't have luck. The goals of entering the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions were not achieved.

On the Tauride direction, the Republic of Armenia reached the border in the areas of the settlements of Skadovsk, Golaya Pristan, Kherson, Novaya Kakhovka. After the regrouping continues the offensive in the direction of Nikolayev. Having not achieved success in capturing the regional centers of Kharkov and Chernigov, the Russian army fired rockets at residential areas of these cities.

Having missed offensive opportunities, the enemy concentrated on encircling the city of Kiev,  volunteer doctor Ruslan Agayev told Turan agency.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, at a conference call with the leadership of the Armed Forces, said that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation would continue the special military operation in Ukraine until the set goals were achieved. The main task is to protect Russia from an external military threat from Western countries.

He recalled that in accordance with the decision of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, since February 24, the Russian Armed Forces are conducting a special military operation in order to protect the population of Donbass, demilitarize and denazify Ukraine.—0—
