Baku/11.10.22/Turan: Kiev has changed priorities for requesting weapons from Western countries after Russia's massive missile attack on the territory of Ukraine, "Foreign Policy" reported.
Speaker of Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk sent a letter to the US Congress on Monday calling for priority attention to the supply of "NASAMS" air defense systems, as well as "ATACMS" long-range missiles.
The list also includes F-15 and F-16 fighter jets, as well as "Grey Eagle" attack drones to counter serial Iranian drones. -02D-

On November 17, 1988 uninterrupted rallies began on the main square of Baku - "Azadliq" (former Lenin Square - ed.) with the demand to ensure the sovereignty over Karabakh. Norwegian Minister of International Development, Anne Beathe Tvinnereim, who traveled to Baku for COP29, met with political prisoner Gubad Ibadoglu, a professor at the London School of Economics and Dresden University of Technology, who is currently under police surveillance and under house arrest.
