UN Court considers Azerbaijan's lawsuit against Armenia
Baku/18.10.21/Turan: On Monday, the UN International Court of Justice in The Hague began considering Azerbaijan's claim against Armenia on racial discrimination.
The lawsuit calls for the introduction of temporary interim measures against Armenia. This was stated at the hearing by the representative of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov.
The hearing will last two days. Earlier (October 14-15), the same court considered a similar claim of Armenia against Azerbaijan. The decision on the lawsuit will be announced within a month and half.
Azerbaijan's lawsuit says that Armenia has committed and continues to discriminate against Azerbaijanis due to their ethnic origin. -05D-
