US Secretary of State Calls for Resumption of Substantive Negotiations on Karabakh Settlement
Washington D.C. / 21.09.20 / Turan: US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called on the parties to the Karabakh conflict to resume substantive settlement negotiations. In his address on the occasion of Armenia's Independence Day, Pompeo said:
“We also remain committed to helping to find a peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and urge the sides to resume substantive negotiations under the auspices of the Minsk Group Co-Chairs as soon as possible,” Pompeo said.-16D-

In Georgia’s parliamentary elections, the ruling "Georgian Dream" party achieved a significant majority in areas with large Armenian and Azerbaijani populations: Akhalkalaki – 88%, Ninotsminda – 90%, Marneuli – 80%, Bolnisi – 81%, Tetritskaro – 68.6%, Dmanisi – 76.4%, Tsalka – 69.3%, and Gardabani – 70.8%. Footage of ballot-stuffing in Marneuli circulated widely on social media in Georgia and beyond. Meanwhile, "Georgian Dream" lost in Tbilisi, where national minorities are few.
