U.S. Sees Bayramov-Mirzoyan Meeting As 'Positive Step' - Blinken
The United States sees the latest meeting of Azerbaijani-Armenian foreign ministers in Tbilisi as a positive step.
Jeyhun Bayramov and Ararat Mirzoyan "took a positive step today, meeting in Tbilisi", Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a Saturday night tweet.
"Direct dialogue is the surest path to resolving Azerbaijani and Armenian differences," he added.
The foreign ministers met in Georgia over the weekend for their first bilateral since September 2021 when they met in New York with the participation of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group.
