Vth Congress of World Azerbaijanis to be held in Shusha
Baku/18.04.22/Turan: The Vth Congress of World Azerbaijanis will be held in Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan. It was reported by the State Committee for Diaspora, distributed on April 18.
Exact date of the event was not specified, it only said that the forum will be held in April.
The Congress delegates will first gather in Baku and then travel to Shusha. The event is expected to be attended by about 400 representatives of the diaspora from 65 countries.
After the official ceremony, a report on the activities of the State Committee for Diaspora will be presented, and then there will be discussions on the themes: "Challenges facing the Azerbaijani diaspora in the post-war period," "The contribution of the Azerbaijani diaspora to the restoration and reconstruction of Karabakh".
It should be added that the 1st Congress of World Azerbaijanis was held on November 9-10, 2001, the 2nd - on March 16, 2006, the 3rd - on July 5-6, 2011, the 4th - on June 3, 2016.
So far, all the diaspora congresses had been held in Baku.-0-
