Witnesses and one of the accused spoke at the trial of Mkrtchan and Khosrovyan
Baku/23.06.21/Turan: On June 23, the trial of Mkrtchyan Ludvik and Khosrovyan Alyosha charged with torturing and abusing Azerbaijani prisoners and hostages during the First Karabakh War, continued in the Yasamal court of Baku.
Today, the testimonies of witnesses continued at the trial to confirm the facts of their torture by the accused.
The defendant Alyosha Khosrovyan in his testimony partially admitted guilt due to the illegal crossing of the Azerbaijani border. The trial will continue on June 30, and Khosrovyan continues to bear his testimony.
It should be reminded that Ludvik Mkrtchyan was detained on October 20, 2020 in the Fuzuli district.
Also, Alyosha Khosrovyan was also detained by the Azerbaijani military in Karabakh. Both are charged under Articles 113 (torture), 115.2 (violation of the laws and customs of war), 279.1 (creation of illegal armed groups), 318.2 (illegal crossing of the state border of Azerbaijan), etc. - 02D-

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan published a set of proposals on his Facebook page aimed at establishing long-term peace in the region. Among them, he suggested that Azerbaijan should abandon mutual claims against Armenia, including in international courts. Other proposals include: refraining from using belligerent rhetoric, continuing the demarcation of borders, signing a peace agreement that is 90% ready, mutually implementing arms control, creating a joint mechanism to investigate violations of the ceasefire regime, and dissolving the OSCE Minsk Group.
