ASALA will not be able to commit terrorist acts against Azerbaijan, the expert believes
Armenian terrorist organization "ASALA" will not be able to commit terrorist acts against diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan abroad, because the security organs of Azerbaijan are able to take proactive measures and have enough international partners in the fight against terrorism, said the head of the NGO "Public combating terrorism," Lieutenant-Colonel Shahmurad Mammadov in his interview with "Objective TV" (www.obyektiv.tv).
According to him, threatening statements of the Armenian leadership after the release of Ramil Safarov and the letter of ASALA supplement each other. "It means that providing of political, technical, information and financial assistance by Armenia to terrorist organizations is possible," said Mammadov.
However, he did not agree with statements that Russia's secret services support the Armenian terrorists. "Russia , the only ally of Armenia, has a big economic interests in Azerbaijan and Turkey", he said. At the same time, Mammadov considers necessary to strengthen public safety in Azerbaijan. -03B06-
