12 Azerbaijani citizens repatriated from Syria
Baku/25.11.21/Turan: On November 24, 12 Azerbaijani citizens were repatriated from a camp in the Syrian town of Jarablus, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
They were transported to the territory of Turkey, where the Azerbaijani Embassy provided them with documents for their return to Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijani government will take necessary measures for rehabilitation and reintegration of these persons, the Foreign Ministry said.
The message does not mention the age and gender of the repatriates. Also, it is not reported how and when they happened to be in Syria. Earlier, official authorities reported on the detention in camps in Syria of the wives and children of persons who fought as a part of various military formations in Syria and Iraq. -02D-
