12 kg of heroin and marijuana seized from two drug dealers in Baku
Baku/10.01. 24/Turan: As part of measures to combat drug trafficking, the police detained a resident of Baku, previously convicted Elchin Jafarov, born in 1988. During the inspection of his personal “Toyota Prius” car, 10 kg of heroin was seized, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported. Jafarov was involved in drug trafficking under the guise of providing taxi services.
Khatai police officers also detained and seized 2 kg of marijuana from a resident of Baku, Ceyhun Abbasguliyev, born in 1984. Both detainees testified that they had purchased drugs from Iranian citizens, whom they contacted through social networks.
Jafarov and Abbasguliyev took drugs from caches in various places of the capital and delivered them to individuals for a monetary reward. Lawsuits have been filed on the facts, and operational investigative measures are continuing. –05B06-
