1,210 new cases of COVID-19 infection per day
Baku/25.02.22/Turan: Over the past day, 1,210 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Azerbaijan, 3,851 people have recovered, 28 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers reports.
In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 782,748 cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Azerbaijan, including 757,892 people who have recovered, 9,358 have died, and the number of active patients is 15,498.
Over the past day, 8,978 tests for COVID-19 have been conducted in the country.—06D-

France has accused Azerbaijan of interfering in the domestic affairs of New Caledonia, a French special administrative-territorial entity in the South Pacific. The allegation was made by French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin during an interview with France 2 on May 15. Responding to a question about New Caledonia, Darmanin asserted, “Some leaders of New Caledonia, who are supporters of independence, have made a deal with Azerbaijan, which is undeniable.”
