13 drug dealers detained in Lankaran
Baku/30.06.22/Turan: In recent days, 13 drug dealers and couriers were detained during police operations in Lankaran, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
Baku residents Eldaniz Suleymanov and previously convicted Tarlan Aliyev were detained as a result of local police operations. During the inspection of the car driven by Aliyev, more than 6 kg of heroin was found.
The drugs had been purchased from a foreigner, and the dealers intended to sell them in Baku. Both were arrested by court decision.
Another 11 people were detained in other operations in the Lankaran region of the country. The facts are being investigated. -

The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.

During the operation of the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 5 members of an organized group engaged in drug trafficking were detained. All of them have previous convictions: Bahlul Ismayilov, Royal Aliyev, Khayal Aliyev, Samir Aghayev, and Ali Mammadli.
