Baku/21.12.20/Turan: 1505 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Azerbaijan per day. At the same time, 3,028 people were cured, and 43 died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on Monday.
The total number of infected people in the country was 203,593 facts, of which 142,807 people recovered, and 2,253 died. The number of active patients today is 58,533. Over the past 24 hours, 9,383 tests have been carried out in the country. -02D-

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
