160 kilograms of drugs were seized from illegal traffic
Baku/28.04.23/Turan: Employees of the Interior Ministry and the State Border Service prevented the illegal trafficking of a large volume of drugs smuggled into the country, the press service of the Interior Ministry.
So, during the operation in Beylagan region, Tarlan Khasmamedov, a previously convicted resident of the capital, was detained. 100 kg of marijuana and 60 kg of opium were found in his car.
During the interrogation, Khasmamedov stated that he delivered drugs to different addresses in Baku from the village of Shahsevan, located on the border with Iran. He received the drugs through a local intermediary named Yashar, who took them from an unknown Iranian citizen.
In fact, a criminal case was opened, Khasmamedov was arrested. -0-
