169 iPhones seized at Russian border
Baku/14.02.22/Turan: Customs officers at the Samur checkpoint on the border with Russia stopped the smuggling of 169 iPhone smartphones into Azerbaijan.
According to the press service of the State Customs Committee, the smuggled goods were found in a "Volvo" truck driven by Russian citizen Mirza Davudov.
When examining the cab of the car, smartphones of the iPhone 12, 13, 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max models with a total number of 169 units were found. The market price of smartphones is about 350,000 manats. The fact is being investigated.
The message does not say for what purpose the car entered Azerbaijan and what goods it imported. -02D-
