17,714 out of wedlock children were born in the country
Baku/27.12.21/Turan: Last year in Azerbaijan, for every 100 girls, 114 boys were born, announced on December 27 the head of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children, Bahar Muradova, speaking at a parliamentary session.
According to her, such an imbalance is "dangerous."
In total, 126,571 children were born in 2020, of which 67,407 were boys and 59,164 were girls.
“Of this number, 108,857 children were born in wedlock, and 17,714 children were born out of wedlock," she said. -03D-
