1,795 new cases of coronavirus infection per day
Baku/12.01.21/Turan: In Azerbaijan, over the past day, 1,795 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered, 1,967 patients have recovered.
According to the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, 28 people have died from the coronavirus.
To date, 590,113 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in the country, of which 556,716 citizens have been cured, 7,884 have died, 25,513 are actively sick.
Over the past day, in connection with the identification of new cases of infection, 12,565 tests were carried out.
Also, over the past day, 40 314 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 4,181, with the second - 6,125 people, and 30,008 people received the booster dose.
The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today is 10,567,919, of which 5,083,530 received the first dose of vaccine, 4,573,036 received two doses, and 911,353 people received a booster dose.-0-
