2 406 new cases of COVID-19 infection per day
Baku/06.09.21/Turan: In Azerbaijan, over the past 24 hours, 2,406 new cases of coronavirus infection have been identified, 2,867 patients have recovered, and 37 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on September 6.
The total number of infected people in the country reached 445,278, of which 386,549 were cured, and 5,879 died, treatment of 52,850 active patients continues.
Over the past day, 11,550 coronavirus tests have been carried out. Also, over the past day, 1107 doses of coronavirus vaccines have been introduced. 943 people were vaccinated with the first dose, 164 with the second.
The total number of vaccines used was 7,236,381, of which 4,359,737 received the first dose, 2,876,644 received two doses. -06D-

France has accused Azerbaijan of interfering in the domestic affairs of New Caledonia, a French special administrative-territorial entity in the South Pacific. The allegation was made by French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin during an interview with France 2 on May 15.
