Baku / 09.12.20 / Turan: 4403 new cases of COVID-19 infection were revealed in Azerbaijan per day. At the same time, 2911 recovered, and 42 people died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on Wednesday.
The total number of infected people in Azerbaijan reached 158,555 people, 96,330 people recovered, 1,755 died, the number of active patients was 60,470.

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
