547 new cases of COVID-19 infection detected in Azerbaijan over the past day
Baku/07.01.22/Turan: In Azerbaijan, over the past day, 547 new cases of coronavirus infection have been identified (COVID-19), 631 patients recovered, 9 died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers reported on January 7.
In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 620,049 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified, including 604,537 have recovered, 8,431 died, and 7,081 active patients are continuing treatment. Over the past day, 11,139 tests were carried out to detect COVID-19.
Also, over the past day, 31,844 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19. During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 3,059, the second - 3,976, with a booster dose - 24,809.
The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today is 11,439,291, of which 5,178,595 received the first dose of the vaccine, 4,688,646 received the second dose, and 1,572,050 people received a booster dose.—16D06-
