A man who tortured his own children arrested
Baku / 11.12.19 / Turan: A father suspected of torture of his young children in the Sabunchi district of Baku was detained, according to the press service of the prosecutor general.
It was established that a resident of the Agjabadi region, Hagani Akperov, along with the stepmother of their sons, Nurana Akperova, regularly beat these young children in the village of Zabrat. As a result, in October 2019, G.A received second-degree thermal burns on his face. In addition, he had scars on his neck, hematomas on his elbow and thigh.
His brother was found with closed fractures and thermal hematomas in various parts of the body.
The forensic medical examination confirmed that injuries to children occurred during their stay with their father and stepmother.
Kh. Akperov and N. Akperova were prosecuted and charged under the Articles 127.2.2 (Deliberate infliction of less serious bodily harm with particular cruelty, or a person in a helpless state), 133.2.3 (Torture committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy) and 133.2.4 (torture of a minor) of the Criminal Code.
Concerning H. Akperov, a preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen.
N. Akperova in connection with a 16-week pregnancy was transferred under police surveillance.
In relation to children, additional forensic, comprehensive psychiatric and psychological examinations have been assigned.
Applied to the relevant state bodies to deprive H. Akperov of paternity.
Specialists are involved for the treatment and social rehabilitation of young children, the correction of their psychological state. — 21C06-
