Owners of shops of a burnt down shopping center demand compensation
Baku / 11.12.19 / Turan: About a hundred shop owners of the burnt out EuroHome shopping center today tried to block traffic on the Baku-Sumgait highway.
Thus, they tried to draw the attention of the authorities to their problem. The participants demanded to provide them with material compensation for the lost property.
The police stopped the action. The head of the executive branch of the Binagadi district Elhan Allahverdiyev promised the audience to consider their problems at a special meeting on Friday. To the demands of those gathered to resolve the issue of compensation, he said that this issue was not in his competence. He promised to do everything possible to help the victims.
During the fire, dozens of shops with building materials and plumbing burned out.
