Baku / 08.06.17 / Turan: The activist of the Khatai district branch of the youth committee of the Popular Front Party, Islam Islamzade, was arrested today by the decision of the Agdam district court for 25 days.
From the court he was taken to an isolator in the neighboring Barda district, the PFPA said.
Previously, Islamzade's brother, was summoned to the Agdam district police department in the village of Guzanli. He was asked to provide his brother"s coming to police. Islam Islamzadeh lives in Baku, but is registered in the Agdam region.
The reason for the arrest of the activist is not clear. It is known that he was an active user of Facebook, where he criticized the authorities. The PFPA believes that the reason for his arrest was precisely this activity. It was not possible to receive comments in the police department. It should be noted that currently there are more than 10 activists of the Popular Front in prison. -03B-

A fire has erupted at the Experimental and Testing Production of the Scientific Research Institute of SOCAR (the state oil company) in the Surakhani district of Baku, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
