Armenian Side Fired at Border Guard Truck
Baku / 08/30/19 / Turan: On August 29, at 18:30, a truck of the Azerbaijani Border Service, in which military personnel were located, was fired by the Armenian side. The incident occurred in the Gazakh region near the village of Farahli.
The State Border Service of Azerbaijan informs that fire from sniper weapons was opened from the side of the village of Shavarshavan of the Noyembrian region of Armenia.
Judging by the photo published by the Border Service, the enemy fired on the windshield of the truck. As a result, the soldiers in the truck were not injured. The Azerbaijani side returned fire.
It should be noted that the indicated section of the state border between Azerbaijan and Armenia is exactly the place where in recent weeks the Azerbaijani side has taken a number of new positions. In response, the Armenian side announced similar progress in the neighboring sector. -02D-
