Baku Serious Crimes Court on March 14 held a regular meeting in the case 7 NIDA activists and member of the organization "Free Youth." Today, Samandar Guliyev , the father of the accused Bakhtiyar Guliyev, and the accused Rashadat Akhundov.
S.Guliev reported that MNS officers , raided his apartment without presenting a judgment.
Rashadat Ahundov claimed fraud of indictment. "All allegations are absurd, it was a pre-planned scenario.
Mamed Azizov was tortured after arrest, so testified against me," said Akhundov. The next hearing is scheduled for March 28.
All of the defendants were arrested in March and April 2013 on charges of plotting riots during a protest on March 10 against non combat losses in the army. They also filed charges of illegal possession of explosives, drugs, hooliganism. Amnesty International recognized all arrested "prisoners of conscience." -16D-
