AZAL shall perform daily evacuation flights
Baku/03.02.22/Turan: AZAL will perform daily evacuation flights to evacuate compatriots who want to return to their homeland in connection with the events in Ukraine. Boarding on evacuation flights is free for Azerbaijani citizens, the press release of the company.
Earlier, on March 1, AZAL has already carried out an evacuation flight, thanks to which 176 Azerbaijani citizens returned to their homeland.
For the evacuation of compatriots who left Ukraine for neighboring states, Azerbaijan additionally organizes other charter flights. Thus, on February 28 and March 2, 336 Azerbaijani citizens were delivered to Baku by these flights.
To return to their homeland, Azerbaijani citizens who left Ukraine can contact the country's diplomatic missions abroad.—06B-
