Compared to the beginning of 2022, the population of the country has increased by 0.5 percent, the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan reports. 52.9% of the population lives in cities, 47.1% live in rural areas. This year 2630 twins, 117 triplets and 8 quadruplets were born in Azerbaijan. From January to September, 93612 children were born.
