Azerbaijan's quota for Hajj this year is 680 people
Baku/07.06.22/Turan: This year's quota for Azerbaijani citizens to perform Hajj will be 680 people. Acceptance of documents from those wishing to visit the holy places in Mecca has been completed. This is announced in the report of the Caucasus Board of Muslims.
Pilgrims are expected to receive visas in the near future, and four airplanes will be assigned to take them to Mecca and back. One group of pilgrims will travel to Mecca daily, starting from June 29.
The cost of this year's hajj will be 9,106 manats.
Pilgrims will have to take a PCR test 72 hours before departure. Pilgrims older than 65 years are not allowed to perform Hajj.
Recall that in the past two years Hajj pilgrimage from Azerbaijan was not carried out due to the pandemic. -05D-.
