Aziz Orujov will seek full justification
Baku / 05.04.18 / Turan: Director of Internet TV Chanal 13, Aziz Orujov, released today, stated that he does not agree with the decision of the Supreme Court, despite his release, because he wanted a full justification. "My freedom must be complete. I will continue the fight for an excuse, because in no way do I consider myself guilty," Orujov said in a conversation with Turan. "It's hard to live locked between the four walls, while you are not guilty of anything," said Orujov, referring to prison life. He thanked journalists, local and international public for their attention to his case and support.
Orujovv was arrested in May 2017 in administrative order. A month later, he was charged with criminal charges of illegal business and abuse of power and subsequently sentenced to 6 months in prison. Today, the Supreme Court softened the sentence, reducing the prison sentence to 3 years and releasing it conditionally. -03B06-
