Baku / 07/31/17/Turan: The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on the investigation of the fact of a baby being thrown into a well in the Lankaran region.
In the information it is said that a resident of the village of Darguba Shaig Nuriyev called to the police on July 30, reporting the loss of his five-day old baby girl from a baby carriage.
On the same day Nuriyev called again, saying he had found the corpse of the baby in the well of his yard. Police arrived at the scene and took out the baby's body from the well.
A criminal case has been opened, and operative-search work is being conducted. Local media put forward various versions of the incident, one of which is that the baby was deliberately killed, since it was a girl.
