Baku to Host Final Not of Champions League, but of Europa League
Baku /09/20/17/ Turan: Baku has got the right to host the final of the Europa Football League of the 2018/19 season. Such a decision was made in Nyon (Switzerland) at a meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee on September 20.
Previously, the Spanish media reported that the UEFA Executive Committee would appoint the final of the Champions League of the 2018/19 season in Baku. However, the Executive Committee preferred the home arena of FC Atletico Madrid, Vanda Metropolitano.
The Europa League final will be held at the Baku Olympic Stadium, which seats 70 thousand spectators. And the UEFA Super Cup will be held in Istanbul at the Vodafone Park Stadium. -06D-
