Baku / 20.10.17 / Turan: Lawyer Fuad Agayev met today in jail N 2 with the leader of REAL Movement Ilgar Mammadov. The lawyer said, because of the verification conducted by Mamedov management of the institution, the meeting of the defender with him occurred late. "Ilgar Mammadov said that he was subjected to verification in this manner in October 2015 and after that he was beaten by officials, persons of the jail. He regarded what happened today as not good actions, "said the lawyer. Agayev at the same time reported on the normal state of Mammadov.
The leader of the REAL movement, Ilgar Mammadov, was arrested in connection with the events in the Ismayilli region in January 2013. He was accused of organizing mass riots and sentenced to 7 years in prison. However, the European Court of Human Rights has found his arrest unlawful and politically motivated and decided to immediately release him. This decision of the Strasbourg Court, taken in May 2014, is still not executed. -16D06--
