Bridge collapsed in Khachmaz, there are victims
Baku/15.09.23 /Turan: Early in the morning of September 15, a road bridge over the Gudiyalchai River collapsed in the Khachmaz region of the country.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as a result of mudflows caused by intense rain, the bridge collapsed on 27 km of the Gyandob-Khachmaz-Yalama-Russia highway, the territory of the Khachmaz region.
As a result of the collapse, two people were injured, who were rescued and handed over to the ambulance crew.
According to local residents, one car fell from the bridge into the river, the condition of those inside is unknown. At present, the movement of cars towards the Russian border is interrupted. Obviously, traffic in the direction of the border and back will be redirected along an alternative road through the neighboring town of Guba.
The Joint Department of Territorial Medical Units (JDTMU) informed Turan that as a result of the bridge collapse, three men were admitted to the Khachmaz central regional hospital and received medical assistance.
Thus, a citizen born in 1999 was diagnosed with a lower jaw injury and a fracture of the left radius bone and was released for outpatient treatment due to his satisfactory condition.
The treatment of the citizen of 1966 continues in the department of surgery.
Doctors diagnosed multiple fractures in his ribs and traumatic shock. His condition is assessed as serious.
The condition of another citizen born in 1984 is assessed as medium severity.
He was diagnosed with blunt abdominal trauma and closed fracture of the right femur. At the request of his family he was evacuated to a medical institution in Baku.-03B06-
