In the morning of August 14 on the outskirts of the capital a passenger bus number 148 crashed. The incident occurred near the Olympic Stadium under construction in the Sabunchu district, said the MOE. According to the same source, the bus lost control and overturned. The driver, 31 year old Hagverdi Kerimov died on the spot.
Six of the injured were taken to Hospital number 3. Another victim died at the scene.
Because of the accident, on the road to the airport there was a traffic jam many kilometers long. -16D-
