Call by Siyavush Novruzov leads to moral corruption
The proposal of the MP and deputy chairman of the ruling party New Azerbaijan Siyavush Novruzov on the legalization of prostitution is negatively perceived in the Azerbaijani society.
The head of the Centre for Protection of Freedom of Conscience and Religion (DEVAMM), theologian Ilgar Ibrahimoglu called unacceptable implementation of this idea. In all religions, prostitution and extramarital affairs are considered one of the greatest sins. Therefore, those calling for legalization of prostitution should be aware that the Day of Judgment they will have to answer, said Ibrahimoglu.
Such calls are moral decay of society, he said. -05B06
