Caucasian Muslims Office (CMO) does not comment on the arrest of its employee
Caucasian Muslims Office (CMO) declined to comment on the arrest of an employee of its technical staff Elshan Mustafayev (Mustafa oglu.) Turan attempts to get an official comment about his arrest by the Ministry of National Security were futile. At the same time, in private conversations representatives of CMO, say they do not believe in high treason of Mustafayev, as according to some sources.
At the same time, some representatives of CMO believe it is unlikely that he could be arrested without a real reason.
Mustafayev was arrested on December 17, and on 19 December the court arrested him for four months. According to unofficial reports, he was accused of spying.
